These beautiful Log Beds are made from lodgepole pine, (NOT CEDAR) We specialize in taking chainsaw carving to an art form ... from handcrafted, authentic chain saw carved bears, dogs and totem poles to unique signature piece furniture & sculpture. All of our carving pieces are made one at a time. There will naturally be some irregularities and variations, as this is the mark of an original piece. Everything we sell is first quality. Every eye-catching piece is individually carved with a chainsaw by artist. Because of the meticulous detail that goes into every carving, each one has it's own unique personality. All pieces are carved from dry, seasoned pine. We only use standing dead pine that is seasoned to maturity, and we carefully position the cracks to assure the highest quality possible. We burn most of our carvings to achieve a rustic natural color. Then we seal them with spar urethane with UV protection.
